WERC

WERC Overview

WERC is determined to ensure that research rooted in addressing inequalities based on social differences such as 'race' and ethnicity takes it rightful position as a dynamic and fast-developing subject area, and results in outcomes that directly benefit the health and social welfare of people from BME backgrounds - particularly those living in Wales.

In order to achieve this, WERC offers a professional resource, dissemination, and consultation service to provide the support and guidance needed to maximise the collective talents and expertise of people working in all fields related to BME health and social care research and development.

Our research support service is rooted in a number of core activities directly linked to our key commitments of involving people; promoting equality and diversity; funding joint initiatives and strengthening research protocols.
